Requiem high mass was held at the St. Boniface church in Waukee, Monday, Mar. 12, for Mrs. Caroline E. Grace Weil, 67. Mrs. Weil was born at Emmetsburg, on Oct. 21 1894, the daughter of William and Mary Grace. She was married to John N. Weil in 1919 at Emmetsburg. During her life in Waukee she was active in the Rosary Society of St. Boniface church. She had lived in Des Moines for the past year and one half.
Rev. M. J. Schulte officiated at the services. Casket bearers were William Forret, Francis Forret, Joe Callan, Vincent Callan, John McKinney and Hubert McKinney. Burial was at the Catholic cemetery in Dallas Center.
She is survived by her husband, John; three sons; Joseph W. of Des Moines; John Francis of Waukee and Leo Charles of Adel. Also two daughters, Madelyn Overman of Jamaica and Dorothy Allen of Waterloo, also 14 grand children. Surviving also are four brothers, George Grace and Fred Grace of Sioux Falls, Lester Grace and Andy Grace of Emmetsburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
