Mrs. Madelyn Weil Overman, formerly of Waukee, passed away at her home in Ankeny on December 26. She was 48 years of age. Mrs. Overman was born and raised in Waukee. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John N. Weil.
Funeral mass was held Tuesday, December 30, at 10 a.m. at Our Ladies Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, in Ankeny. Burial was at St. Mary’s Catholic cemetery at Dallas Center.
She is survived by her husband Leslie, two sons, Bill of Ankeny and Bob of Boone and a daughter, Dianne, of Des Moines. Also surviving are her father, John N. of Des Moines; three brothers, Joseph W. of Des Moines, Francis of Waukee and Leo C. of Adel. One sister, Dorothy Allen of Waterloo and two grandchildren also survive.
