Thomas H Peschong, 66, died Monday, July 10 1995, at Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell. Mr Peschong was born July 3, 1929, in Howard. He graduated from St Agatha's Catholic School in Howard in 1947, and then worked on newspapers in Howard and Woonsocket. He served in the National Guard from 1947 to 1951, and then worked in banking in California and overseas. He married Margaret Leneghan on Aug 2, 1961, in Kent, England. He retired in 1986 as vice-president of the world banking division for Bank of America. They moved to Mitchell in 1987.
He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Andre of Newport Beach, CA; one daughter, Nanette Peschong of Tracy, MN; one grandchild; three brothers: Dr Leon of Mitchell; Jim of Fargo, ND and Al of Denver, CO; and three sisters: Rita Mills of Huron; Carol Rockwell of Minneapolis, MN and Helen Schneiderhan of San Antonio, TX.
Services will begin at 10:30 am Thursday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mitchell, with burial at St Joseph Cemetery in Howard.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 pm today at Will Funeral Chapel in Mitchell, with a scripture service at 6 pm.
