Kenneth Eugene Weeks, 76, of 170 Evergreen Drive, Waukee, died of heart failure Sunday at Veterans Medical Center in Des Moines.

Mr. Weeks was born in Britt and lived in Fremont before movin to Waukee eight years ago. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the American Legion and National Rifle Association’s Golden Eagles.

He is survived by six daughters, Connie Pond, of Matthews, NC, Carmen Miller of Jacksonville, FL, Shirley Charles of West Des Moines, Vickie Weeks of Massena, Sherry Forrest of Urbandale and Mary Weil of Waukee; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
