RETIRED FARMER'S WIFE RESIDED IN COMMUNITY FOR 52 YEARS-June 27-Funeral services were to be held this afternoon for Mrs Erick Lindell, 72, who died at her home at Salem Sunday morning. The services are scheduled at the Trico Funeral home at 1:45 and at the Sun Prairie Baptist church northwest of Salem at 2:30. The church services were to be conducted by Rev Arthur Anderson.
Augusta Josephine Olson was born at Grodinge, Stockholms Han, Sweden, September 9, 1872. At the age of 20, she immigrated to the United States and arrived in Sun Prairie Township in 1893. On May 2, 1900, she was united in marriage to Erick Konard Lindell and they made their home in Salem until 1906, when they moved to their farm in Brookfield township. In 1910 they moved to Unityville, where they resided for three years, returning to their farm where they lived until their retirement from farming in the spring of 1943. Mrs Lindell has been a resident of this community for 52 years.
Mr and Mrs Lindell were the parents of six children. The widower and five children survive.
