Munir F. Ibrahim of Aurora, a former professor and real-estate agent, died May 5 in Englewood. He was 70.

Mass was said May 10 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. There was cremation.

He was born Aug. 10, 1929, in Baghdad, Iraq.

On Nov. 21, 1964, he married Ardella Olson in Denver.

He earned a master's degree from Adams State College. He was a professor of English at Metropolitan State College of Denver.

His interests included reading and music. He was a member of the Rocky Mountain Cedars Club.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Fred and Sami, both of Aurora, and Mike, Denver; a sister, Janet Lobbo, Baghdad; and three grandchildren.
