Obituary-Two young persons, from the Howard area, lost their lives in an auto collision that also took the life of another young man, July 29, 1967. Miss Cheryl Wettlaufer, 19, was accompanying Larry Miller, 21, to his graduation exercises at Brookings when their car collided with that of William Kramer, 26, Boone, IA. The accident happened seven miles north of Madison. Norman J McGillivray, Lake County Sheriff, who investigated the accident said that the Miller car was going north and the Kramer car south when they collided in the north bound lane. Both cars were demolished almost beyond recognition. The Sheriff said that the cars hit on a straight stretch of the highway with clear visibility and ideal driving conditions. Kramer was a construction worker employed in Aberdeen.
