Services for Mary Jane McKinney of Dallas Center will be at 10 am Tuesday at St. John’s Catholic Church in Adel, of which she was a member. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. McKinney, 61, died Saturday of a heart ailment at home.
Mrs. McKinney lived in Dallas Center for 40 years after living in Adel. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, John; three daughters, Chris Eckert of Runnells, Mary Jo Gordon of Dike and Renee Pruitt of Des Moines; four brothers, Ron Howe of Waukee, Robert Howe of Grimes, Jack Howe of Perryville, Ark., and Jerry Howe of Des Moines; two sisters, Chrystal Olivetta and Martha Strike, both of Indianola; seven grand-children; and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call after 1 pm today at Brandt Funereal Home, where the family will be present from 6 to 7 pm and a rosary will be recited at 7 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
