Services for Joseph O. Weil, 79, retired Waukee farmer, who died of a stroke Wednesday at the Bishop Drumm Home, 1409 Clark Street, will be at 9:30 am Friday at St. John’s Catholic Church. Born in Warren County, Mr. Weil farmed in the Waukee area 50 years. He retired 10 years ago and had lived here five years. He was a member of St. John’s Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus.
The Rosary will be said at 7:30 o’clock tonight at the Conley Funeral Home, 3425 Grand Avenue.
Surviving are his widow, Rose Frances of the Bishop Drumm Home; two sisters, Sister Mary Rose R.S.M., of Des Moines and Mrs. Dorothea Callan of Granger; three brothers, Andrew C. and John N. of Des Moines and Frank F. of Hale Center, Texas.
