Ruth F. Miller died on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital from natural causes. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Orilla.

Ruth was born August 13, 1906 in Cumming the daughter of John and Mary Tate Anderson. She and her husband George farmed in the Martensdale and St. Marys area and later in the Cumming area. She was a member of the St. Marys Community Club and enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Ruth "Dolly" Flinn of Cumming; her grandsons, Don and Ron both of Cumming, her great grandchildren; Kerry Flinn, Katie Weldon, Sharon Flinn, Wade Flinn and Will Flinn. She was preceded in death by her husband George in 1983.
