Services for William J. Miller, 55, of 6209 Muskogee, who died of a heart attack at home Friday morning, were held at 11 a.m. Monday at McLaren's Funeral Home, with burial at Jordan Cemetery.

Mr. Miller was a lifetime resident of this area and was employed as a welder at the Pittsburgh-Des Moines Steel Co. plant at Clive.

He was a member of the Volunteer Fire Department of West Des Moines, the Iowa Firemen Association, the International Ornamental Ironworkers Union and the Christian Church here.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Rose Summer of Lawton, Okla., and Mrs. Marilynn Sellers of West Des Moines; two brothers, George of Cumming and Henry of West Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Brick of Orilla and Mrs. Mary Jones of Cumming, and one grandchild.2
