Mrs. Mary (Jones) Slofkosky, 63, of Lovilia, died Tuesday of a heart attack at the Meredith Corp.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John's Catholic Church in Cumming with burial at the Jordan Cemetery in West Des Moines.

Born in Des Moines, Mrs. Slofkosky lived most of her life in Cumming until moving to Lovilia two months ago. She was employed at the Meredith Corp. for 23 years and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Steve; three sons, James Jones of Norfolk, Neb., Jerry Jones of Indianola and Jerald Jones of Des Moines; two brothers, George Miller of Cumming and Henry Miller of West Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Rosie Brick of Cumming, and 14 grandchildren.2
