OBITUARY-Victoria C Schulte, 87, died Wednesday in Luther Manor.
Victoria Karolevitz was born Feb 19, 1897, in Yankton County. She taught school in Yankton and married Henry Schulte May 11, 1920, in Yankton. They moved to Sioux Falls in 1945.
During World War II, she worked for the American Red Cross. Her husband died in August of 1976.
Survivors include two sons- Joseph, Peabody, MA; and Francis Holbrook, MA; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Frank, Salem, OR; and a sister, Veronica Stransky, Fremont, CA.
Funeral Mass will begin at 10 am Saturday in Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will begin at 2 pm Saturday in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Yankton.
Visiting will begin at 2 pm today in Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home, with a scripture service at 7.30 tonight.
