Obituary
OBITUARY-Mass will be celebrated at 1 pm Friday at Christ the King Church for Henry B Schulte, 83, of 1909 S Lake Ave, who died Wednesday morning shortly after being admitted to a local hospital.
A parish scripture service will be at 7 pm Thursday at Barnett funeral Home, followed by the Catholic Daughters of America reciting the rosary at 7.30. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery at Yankton.
Mr Schulte was born in St Mary's IA, March 31, 1893. He married Victoria Karolevitz at Yankton May 11, 1920. They lived in Geddes from 1920 to 1923, when they moved to a farm east of Yankton. In 1943 they moved to Sioux Falls where he was employed by Billion Motors as a mechanic until retiring in 1959. Mr Schulte was a Navy veteran of World War I.
Survivors include the widow; two sons, Francis and Joseph, both of Boston, MA; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs Max Miller, Woonsocket, and Mrs William Soukup, Scotland, and three brothers, Louis, Rapid City; Joseph, Yankton, and Edward, El Dorado, KA.
