Brother Wilfrid died suddenly of a heart attack at Christian Brothers Community, 921 University Lane, Clayton, Missouri, on November 13, 1975. Brother Wilfrid was in the 60th year of his life, and the 41st year in the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. Brother Wilfrid was teaching at C. B. C. High School, St. Louis County, Missouri, at the time of his death.
Brother Wilfrid Weil, F. S. C., entered the Glencoe Novitiate on September 20, 1933; received the Holy Habit on November 20, 1933, joining the Scholasticate on November 21, 1934. Brother Wilfrid pronounced his Perpetual Vows in the Institute on August 15, 1940.

Brother Wilfrid Weil, F.S.C. is survived by one sister, (Catherine Weil) Mrs. Mabry Duff Goodwin, Rural Route 1, Red Bud, Illinois 62278.
Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday November 15, 1975, at St. Luke the Evangelist Church, on Bellevue Avenue, in Richmond Heights, Missouri. Interment will take place in the Brother’s Cemetery, Glencoe, Missouri, following the Mass. God rest his soul, may he live and share in the fullness of Christ’s Glory.
Brother Wilfrid’s sister, Catherine (Weil) Goodwin, was murdered by her husband, Mabry Duff Goodwin, as well as a business man discussing their investments, when Mr. Goodwin entered. Mr. Goodwin was subsequently sentenced to prison as Resident #6100, Menard Penitentiary, Menard, IL.
