Barney married Alice and they had a daughter, Karen. After divorcing, he got custody of Karen. He married Elaine Kirchner, he was going to school while Elaine worked and Elaine’s mother took care of Karen. His occupation when he got out of school was in Heating and Air Conditioning. He later went into Processed Piping, such as breweries. They divorced and he married Diane Kissel - no children. After she died he married Betsie Martin who had a son, Joseph.
