Jason Aesoph, age 19 of Orient, SD passed away on Sunday, June 14, 1998 at St Luke's Midland Regional Medical Center in Aberdeen SD following injuries he received in a June 7th automobile accident.
Funeral services for Jason will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 17, 1998 at St Joseph's Catholic Church in Orient with Fr Terry Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the St Joseph's Catholic Cemetery at Orient under the direction of the Luce Funeral Home of Faulkton. Wake services were held at 8:00 pm on Tuesday evening at St Joseph's Catholic Church.
Jason was born on August 6, 1978 at Faulkton, SD to Larry and Sandy (Marintmaas) Aesoph. He grew up on a farm near Orient and attended school in Faulkton graduating in 1996. He worked and resided with Jerry Kegler which he really enjoyed. He attended 1 semester of college at SDSU at Brookings. On January 2, 1998 he began working for Bruce McCloud at rural Highmore. He was planning to attend Lake Area Vo-Tech in Watertown for computer programing.
Jason loved playing ball and hunting.
He is survived by his parents: Larry and Sandy Aesoph of Orient, 2 brothers: Jon Aesoph and Jordon Aesoph of Orient, 2 sisters: Shelly Aesoph and Krissey Aesoph of Orient, Paternal Grandmother: Ruby Aesoph of Akron, Ohio and Maternal Grandparents: Bill and Wanelda Martinmaas of Orient.
He was preceded in death by his sister Kelly Rae Aesoph on May 26, 1983 and his grandfather Moses Aesoph.
