OBITUARY-HE Olson, 81, 2409 E 16th St, died Saturday in his home.
Mr Olson was born Sept 29, 1903, near Salem. He married Alice Ericsson May 25, 1930, in Salem, where the couple farmed. They retired in 1969 and moved to Sioux Falls, where Mr Olson installed carpet and insulated new homes. He also served on the Brookfield Township School Board for several years.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Phyllis Schofield, Starchfield, MN; and six grandchildren.
Services will begin at 2 pm Wednesday in Ramsey Baptist Church in rural Montrose, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visiting hours will be prior to services in the church.
