OBITUARY-Funeral services will be held at l.30 pm Thursday at the First Lutheran Church for Herbert A Olson, 56, of 2101 S Blauvelt Ave, who was dead on arrival at a local hospital Tuesday morning.
He was stricken at Western Surety Co, where he was assistant treasurer.
Mr Olson was born at Pretty Rock, ND, May 26, 191l. He moved to Salem as a small child and attended elementary school there. He was graduated from the Salem High School in 1929. He attended Nettleton Commercial College. He was employed for a time by the Midwest Oil Co. For the past 25 years he was employed by Western Surety.
He married Evelyn Holmes, June 18, 1939, at Doland, SD.
He is survived by his widow and a daughter, Juli Ann, Sioux Falls; his mother, Mrs Anna Olson, a brother Hjalmer, and a sister, Mrs Roy Sandine all of Salem.
