Mass of the Christian Burial was held Friday, July 25, 1975 from St Patrick Catholic church in Holyoke, for Dagmar Martha Miller, 78, who passed away Tuesday, July 22nd at Melissa Memorial Hospital. Father Edward Leonard officiated at the services. Interment was in Holyoke Memorial Park. Thompson Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
Dagmar Martha Miller was born September 15, 1897, at Corchester, NE to William and Anna Hansen. She attended schoola dn graduated from Friend High School, Friend, NE and she taught school near Friend. She graduated from Grand Island Business College, then worked several years in the Citizen State Bank of Dorchester. She moved to Holyoke in 1940 and worked for many years at the First National Bank. She then worked in the abstract office for a time before serving two terms as Phillips County Treasurer. She was married to Henry J Miller in April 1952. She was a member of the St Patrick Catholic church, Rebekah Lodge, B.P.W., Holyoke Extension club and the Neighborhood club. Mrs Miller was preceeded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Henry, three brothers: Fred Hansen, Pierce; Hans Hansen, Friend, NE and John Hansen, Dorchester, NE; one sister, Miss Amelia Hansen, Friend, NE, five step-children, Francis Miller, Cicero, IL, Walter Miller and Bernice Behrent, Denver, Leona Klitz and Clarence Miller, Holyoke; 25 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends
