Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated Friday, May 31, 1974 at St Patrick Catholic church, Holyoke, for Elizabeth M Linnenbrink, who passed away Tuesday, May 28, at Meliossa Memorial Hospital. Celebrant was Father Edward J Leonard. Interment was in Holyoke Memorial Park. Thompson Mortuary was in charge of arrangements. Elizabeth M Linnenbrink was born January 5, 1887 at Howells, NE. At an early age they moced to Cedar Rapids, NE. She was married to Frank Linnenbrink of Freeburg, MO. They moved to the Holyoke community in 1919. Elizabeth was a life long member of the Catholic church. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, Colorado Council of Catholic Women, Greeley Navy Mothers, Prairie Gem Club, Jolly Dozen Club, Pleasant Prairie Club, served on teh hospital auxiliary board, Red Ross and was a 4-H leader. She was an honorary life member of the State Homemakers Extension Service. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, in 1938, two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her five children: Mrs LB (Lucille) Miles, Harold Linnenbrink and Frank Linnenbrink of Holyoke, Betty Hines, Englewood and Patricia Hart, Lincoln, NE. Eight brothers and sisters, John Miller, Delhart, TX, Henry Miller, Holyoke, George Miller, Dodge, NE, Alys Miller, Lincoln, NE, Julie Bogner, Ventura, CA, Anna Frey, Albion, NE, Kathryn Goode, Albion, NE and Laura Lindgren, Holyoke. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
