Jim Fink, 87, passed away on February 23, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center.

Jim was born October 24, 1922 in Waukee. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Upon receiving his honorable discharge in 1946 he held the rank of Corporal. Jim was a farmer, member of St. Boniface Catholic Churck, American Legion Post 0464 and Knights of Columbus Council 9574. He was an avid reader, Iowa State and Notre Dame fan and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Jim will be missed by sons, Stephen (Debbie) and Richard (Sheryl) both of West Des Moines; nine grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Mark, Jennylee, Jennifer, Amanda, Kristel, Danielle and Samantha; six great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Leone Callan of Johnston land Marry Catherine Reed of Texsas and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Florence (Finnane) Fink; and his wife, Agnes in 2009.
