Obituary-Joseph James "Jimmy" Schulte, Geddes, 57, a farmer, died Thursday, June 27, 1996 at his farm home near Geddes.
Mr. Schulte was born Oct 3, 1938, in Geddes, where he grew and attended school. He married Susan Kirkpatick on Aug 10, 1974, in Sioux Falls. He farmed near Geddes all his life.
He was a member of St Ann's Catolic Church, where he served as an usher and on church boards. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the township board, and the Geddes Saddle Club.
In addition to his wife, surviors include three sons: William, Robert and Michael, all of Geddes; his mother, Emma Schulte of Geddes; two brothers: Frank and Lawrence, both of Geddes; and four sisters: Mary Ann Winders of Washougal, Wash.; Margaret Preuss of Rapid Cty; Luella Parthenay of Vancouver, Wash.; and Loretta Larson of Geddes.
Services begin at 10:30 am Monday at St Ann's Catholic Church in Geddes, with burial in the church cemetery.
